Who says Valentine’s Day fashion and makeup only has to be on the 14th?
Whether you celebrated by virtually hanging with your best girl/guy friends, watched a rom-com, or met up with your significant other for dinner in the living room, there’s no very good reason why you shouldn’t play around with your Valentine’s Day makeup look all month long!
Here are some makeup looks and ideas to rock all February long:
THE CLASSIC PINK
In the mood for a soft beauty look? Try pink shimmery eye shadow on the lids or a matte pink as a cut crease look.
Pink eyeshadow will give a playful yet sophisticated vibe that pairs well with just about anything, especially cooler tones (blues, greys, black, or neutrals). As a matter of fact, add a champagne shadow as your highlight, rosy blush to your cheeks, a pinkish nude lipstick or lipgloss!
THE CLASSIC RED LIPS
Red lipstick is a beauty staple for a reason. Pair it with a classic winged eyeliner or go natural on your eyes with a light shadow to make that red just pop. For a more sultry look, you can add a gold eye shadow or bronzer to create a lil’ drama!
PURPLE LINER
Now I’m not usually into getting all sassy frassy with colorful eyeliners but this is a beauty trend I might actually get behind!
THE ORANGE GODDESS
Add a soft shimmery orange to your lids then complement it with a velvety brown (even mix two different tones of browns) on the outer corners and blend to create a sunset-like effect.
Contour the rest of your face and use a bit of bronzing powder or a light dusting of a peachy blush on your cheeks, to give you that candlelight glow.
SMOKY EYES
You can’t talk about an occasion that’s known for being a popular date night without covering the smoky eye. Add dark colors on your eyelids then use a pencil liner to darken your bottom waterline (if you’d like). Consider incorporating a burgundy or fuchsia shade for a Valentines-appropriate twist.
Really want to glam up a picture-perfect look? You can do a slick back hairstyle with a good glossy holding gel, to add some edge to your look.
DEWY SKIN
Not into the full glam look? No worries! Start with your favorite cleansing routine, add a primer, serum, then concealer. Instead of following it with a full face of foundation, try just dabbing whatever is left on your face sponge or foundation brush. A tinted moisturizer can also work in lieu of foundation and it will add just a hint of coverage while evening out your tone. Finally, spritz with a dewy setting spray for a gorgeous all-over glow.

These are all such beautiful looks! My favorite is the red lip. I love a good red lip!
Oh such a classic! l’ve actually never worn a red lip out, but eh, I’ll try it eventually!
I would rock all of them. They all have something different. So pretty!
It was so hard to pink these ones! I will say I’m drawn to the classic pink though!
I love a big, bold lip – Valentine’s Day or not. Always makes me feel more confident!
I’ve been so scared to try a bold lip! I’ll put it on then wipe it off, lol! Do you have a favorite shade?
I love these looks. I didn’t bother with makeup on Valentine’s Day only because my husband is deployed. I was in sweats and eating a lot of chocolate.
Thank you for his service and your family’s sacrifices! Praying for his swift and safe return!
P.S. I’m team sweats over here too!
