7 Days of Gratitude

With the holiday season in full swing, it’s almost time to gobble ‘till you wobble ? and Fa-la-la-la with tons of Merry?. Feelings of gratitude couldn’t be more present and everywhere. 

For me, gratitude is like the air we breathe.  It can be anything from giving thanks to people, being appreciative of the services we receive, or just fully embracing life.  Not only is gratitude a great way to infuse happiness, mindfulness, as well as positivity into each day, but it’s also a great form of self-care.

One of the best ways to cultivate this attitude, especially if you haven’t felt as connected to as you’d like to,  is with a gratitude challenge. Like to get on board but not sure how to start?  Well, the season of giving has got you covered because I’ve created an easy to follow 7 Day Gratitude Challenge.

Each day comes with a simple act that’ll hopefully leave you, as well as those around you, with an unmistakable feeling of joy.

Like one challenge more than another? – Feel free to make up your own or mix em’ up. The point is to focus on being grateful for the week — so please don’t stress on sticking to any rules. 

7 DAY GRATITUDE CHALLENGE

  1. Call a relative or friend you haven’t talked to in a while
  2. Leave an uplifting note in a random place
  3. Buy a coffee (or tea) for the person behind you
  4. Surprise someone with a plant or flowers
  5. Give a stranger a compliment
  6. Donate clothes (books, magazines, toiletries, or other items) to a shelter
  7. Write a thank note to a veteran or current service member

    These are great tips! I might actually go through my closet and donate some clothes. Frees up space for more and hopefully gives the less fortunate something they’ll like!

      It’s so freeing and fulling to do, and I always get excited when I see the bags of stuff to give away!
